Registration is Open for KNRC 2025





The theme for the 2025 conference is:
Building Tomorrow’s Wildlife Habitats: Strategies for Success. 

This program explores innovative approaches to designing and managing wildlife habitats in a changing world. Discussion tracks will include habitats in populated areas, addressing urban conservation challenges, and habitat-human interfaces, focusing on shared spaces. Additional topics cover data-driven wildlife monitoring, the impact of invasive species and range shifts due to climate change, and strategies for effective public education and conservation practices. With a broad appeal to professionals in urban and traditional settings, this event aims to equip attendees with actionable insights for habitat sustainability.

Preconference Workshop (General Conference Registration Required)

KNRC is pleased to offer a pre-conference session by Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever. This training is designed to provide landowners, operators, conservation professionals, and wildlife enthusiasts with habitat planning, establishment and maintenance guidelines. The training will also tie in the conservation programs with relevant financial incentives (cost-share, payments, access, and more). This will also include the unveiling of the Kansas Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever strategic initiative to highlight our overarching conservation goals and subsequent efforts for the public of Kansas.


The pre-conference training will occur on Thursday, February 6 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Pre-conference rate is $20.00. Conference registration (full or one-day) is required to attend the pre-conference.
